Pinpoint The Threat. The SureFire X400U is engineered to fit virtually any rail-equipped pistol. Its recoil-proof LED and TIR lens focus 1,000 lumens of light into a smooth, far-reaching hybrid beam with a large central spot and plenty of spill light, an extremely effective combination for close- to medium-range engagements. Available in traditional red (635 nanometers) or high-vis green (515 nanometers), its 5-milliwatt laser is highly visible to the human eye to help the user get on target quickly and accurately. With a Mil-Spec hard-anodized aluminum body that’s light, strong and weatherproof, it can handle hard knocks and stay in the fight.     Both the light and the laser are exceptionally bright. I am color blind and I was concerned that the laser would not be that visible. Wrong! A great product from a great company.

    I love the little light, but the laser is a wimp. For $599, there ought to be a stronger laser. Look at the civilian-legal DBAL I2. Thanks.

    My mounting screw had snapped off. Finally got around to calling and the tech support employee knew exactly what I was talking about. He shipped a new mounting system free of charge. Great service and support. Surefire is the only light I will use for now on.
